Moyo just sort of hangs out shortly before bedtime.

Moyo performed some ballet at Rokkakudo. I am not exactly sure what the costume was supposed to represent, but she enjoyed dressing up.

It is Moyo's birthday. Here she is holding one of her many birthday presents, a matryoshka doll.

We always spend the New Year holidays in Chikugo, and just moments after midnight as the new year begins, we head out to the local shrine. The shrine holds a drawing, and this year I got strawberries, and Moyo got a bottle of shochu, so we traded. Moyo does love her strawberries.

This photograph shows what is probably the heaviest snow we will get this year. Moyo was pleased, but the snow did not last through the day. By the time kindergarten finished, it was all gone.

This was taken on Moyo's first day outside after several days spent at home with influenza. We took a walk around the block and looked under rocks for bugs in a nearby park.
